Emmanuelle Pickett

DIRECTOR

Emmanuelle Pickett received her BA in film studies from Yale University. In 2011, her work was chosen from over 80,000 submissions to be featured in Oscar-winning directors, Kevin Macdonald and Ridley Scott’s groundbreaking feature-length documentary, LIFE IN A DAY. Since then, her films, commercials and analog photography have been featured in Vogue, Rolling Stone, MTV, Vice, Pitchfork, Nowness, and more. Pickett came up as the director mentee of veteran drama director, Dan Attias (TRUE DETECTIVE, HOMELAND, THE WIRE, SIX FEET UNDER). She also fortified her passion for creating complex female characters while working in the writer’s room and on set with acclaimed showrunner, Melissa Rosenberg. Since then, Pickett has developed her own original hour-long cable drama television series with Sony Pictures and released her feature directorial debut, ALL SOULS starring Mikey Madison and acclaimed American rapper G-EAZY, with Lionsgate Pictures.
